Volunteer Information
No previous experience is needed unless it is written in the job description.
We encourage all positive and open-minded people to apply!

Each team will have two team leaders and will have a radio to communicate with other teams through the day. Each team will also have a WhatsApp chat as well as access to the general Volunteers chat. There will be a volunteer induction meeting Friday night and short team meetings before each shift for on site training.

RED TEAM
ADMISSIONS
Admissions is the first point of contact for our guests. You would be scanning tickets, handing out corresponding festival bracelets and checking in volunteers. There will be an admissions team at the camp and at the ticket office.

ORANGE TEAM
MUSIC MANAGEMENT, TECH AND SOUND
Orange Team members will be in charge of ensuring our musicians are looked after. That the stage is set up, the sound and lighting systems are coordinated and sourcing anything the artists might need before during and after their performance. The Orange Team will also be out onsite IT experts setting up and maintaining the Wifi routers and point of sales machines. Sound and tech or IT experience is recommended for this team.

YELLOW TEAM
PARKING & DIRECTIONS
The Yellow Team will be responsible for helping our guests park, taking payment for parking, and helping manage the shuttle. You will also help direct visitors towards the ticket office and the camp entrance upon arrival.

GREEN TEAM
HEALTH, SAFETY & MAINTENANCE
Green Team members are essential for health and safety of all of us at Saor Anam. Our Green Team will be comprised of First Aid certified volunteers, and site maintenance volunteers. The responsibilities of the Green Team range from generator maintenance, bins and toilet checks, and environmental protection checks.

BLUE TEAM
CAMP & FESTIVAL SECURITY
Blue Team members will be our on site security team that will work alongside hired security. Blue Team volunteers will be responsible for checking tickets for workshops, managing numbers during the music events, checking for wristbands at the entrances to the festival and the camp. No prior security experience is necessary however an assertive and positive attitude is recommended.

PURPLE TEAM
SACRED SPACE
& FIRE KEEPERS
The Purple Team will the stewards for our sacred spaces during the festival weekend. They will build and maintain our spiritual spaces, labyrinths, earth mandalas, altars, and help during our opening and closing ceremonies. Purple Team volunteers will also help with the departing aspect of our set up team. Please let us know your availability on the application.

Set up / Take down
Pre / Post Festival Shift
Must be available from 9am on Friday and all day Monday

This volunteer team is open to all those who would prefer to volunteer on Friday or Monday and have a full day free during the festival weekend. This team will be responsible for putting up canvas tents, setting up generators, and moving tables. We are also looking for volunteers to help with site decoration and takedown.
