Free Flow at Saor Anam
Your Saor Anam festival pass opens the door to a variety of welcoming, free-access spaces designed for connection, creativity, and rest. Gather around the main fire or the covered roundhouse fire, join drum circles, and spend time in our sacred spaces for peace and reflection. Wander through the makers market, enjoy the food and drink village, and let the day flow into live music under the stars each night.

Drum Circles
Join our drum circles and connect with the heartbeat of the land through rhythm and sound. A small number of drums will be provided, but we encourage those with their own drums to bring them and add their unique energy to the circle. These circles are open for you to join at any time.
Main Fire & Round House Fire Pit
The Main Fire Pit is the heart of the festival. It is where our opening and closing ceremony will take place and during the festival it is a place to gather, share stories, and connect under open skies. Feel the warmth of community as conversations and music flow late into the night.
The Round House Fire pit is a sheltered, sacred space where warmth and wisdom meet. Join others here in reflection, storytelling, and open drum circles.

Makers Market
Discover our Makers Market inside the Long Hall, featuring ten inspiring wellness small businesses. Explore handcrafted goods, holistic products, and creative offerings that celebrate community, connection, and mindful living. You will also find some of our workshop hosts set up in this space when they are not facilitating.
Food, Drink & Live Music
Our Food & Drink Village offers a curated selection of local vendors serving nourishing, wholesome meals, sweet treats, and artisan beverages. Whether you’re looking for a comforting hot drink, a fresh bite between workshops, or a shared meal with friends, this space invites you to refuel and connect. Food and drink vendors will be announced soon!
As the sun sets, the space transforms with live music, inviting you to dance, unwind, and celebrate together beneath the stars. Join us each evening as talented musicians and performers fill the night with soulful sounds and drum beats. Gather around the fire, dance barefoot under the stars, or simply sit back and soak in the magic of live music surrounded by nature. These nightly gatherings are a celebration of freedom, joy, and the Saor Anam spirit — the Free Soul in all of us.

Cold Water Swimming
Cold water dipping at Carron Dam offers a refreshing reset for both body and mind. Immersing in natural cold water can boost circulation, strengthen the immune response, and trigger endorphins that elevate mood and reduce stress.
The dramatic outdoor setting adds a grounding, almost meditative quality — helping you feel present, resilient, and deeply connected to nature. Many dippers report improved energy, clearer thinking, and a lasting sense of calm that stays with them long after they’ve warmed up.
